Rain Soaked

Under a gray sky streaked with rain, a puffin stood half-hidden among rust-toned sorrel and green grass, droplets collecting along its feathers and beading on its bright beak. Heavy rain like this tends to keep puffins closer to land, holding them near the colony rather than out fishing until the weather breaks.
